Sheet sets are a wonderful way to protect your working plinth and facerest,in fact they are a must if you are concerned with hygiene and the welfare of your massage table,not to mention your clients. My sheet sets come in a sky blue colour and are made from cotton flannel. They are manufactured in a three part package; an elasticated layer to fit over the therapy table,another layer to double up for comfort and a third cover to fit the facerest. All for 25euro!!
I have seen practitioners use towels etc but these will not protect the table if hot oil etc is dropped on to the table surface or sharp objects in clients' pockets. Of course you would check beforehand,wouldn't you???
